Leigh Hartley attended Princeton High School and later earned an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Technology from Johnston Community College. She has spent more than 25 years in the legal field and currently serves as the paralegal to Nicki C. Sanderson. Her experience includes various areas of law, providing her with a broad understanding of the legal profession and a deep commitment to supporting clients through difficult situations. Ultimately, family law holds a special place in her heart, as family is deeply important to her both personally and professionally. Outside of her career, she and her husband actively attend Princeton Church, where they serve in various capacities. They are also North Carolina licensed foster parents, not just opening their home and hearts to children in need but being their advocate. She is the proud mother of five children, one grandchild, four fur babies, and has lovingly cared for numerous foster placements over the years. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending sports events, DIY shows, and finds great joy in helping others in her community.

Stephanie Crawford acts as a receptionist and legal assistant and has 26 years of experience. She is usually the first person you talk to when you call or visit our office. Mrs. Crawford graduated from Charles B. Aycock High School and attended classes at Wayne Community College after high school. She has been involved with the North Carolina Bar Association by volunteering for Wills for Heroes, Lawyers 4 Literacy in Wayne County and acting as a scoring Judge for Mock Trial. Mrs. Crawford and her husband have a son and daughter-in-law that live in Tennessee with 2 grandchildren, a son and partner that live in North Carolina with 2 grandchildren, two dogs and they take care of their niece, who is deaf and handicapped. She spends time learning sign language to be able to communicate with her niece. She has participated in a signing team with her church that was started because of her niece and so that her niece could communicate and participate in church. Mrs. Crawford enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching Carolina Tarheels sports, listening to all kinds of music, cooking, working at Auctions with her family and antique shopping.
